CERTIFICATION PREREQUISITES
ACCOUNTANTS
An individual MUST be a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant), a CA (Chartered Accountant), or another country’s equivalent CPA. They must also be a student or associate member of the Society.
NON-ACCOUNTANTS
Through certification, persons who are not Accountants but are interested in the Forensic Accounting field may pursue all or any of the following certificates: FRD510, CRM504, FRD506, and FRD508.
Persons who are not Accountants but who are interested in the Forensic Accounting field through Continuing Professional Education (CPE) may pursue all or any of the above and attain 20 CPE hours for attendance, without an examination.

EXAM PREPARATION
Candidates can choose from several registration and scheduling options, including web-based registration.
TAKING THE EXAM
To earn the FCPA Certification, you must pass a 5-part test, scoring 70% or better on each part. Each test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. You may study for and take each part of the test separately.
EXPERIENCE
Candidates need at least two years of professional experience in forensic accounting, fraud examination, or a related area.
LICENSING
After successfully passing the exams, you can apply for credential membership to obtain your license.
